You don’t need to be super creative, or crafty, to create a fabulous table setting.
You just need to follow an easy plan. A SUPER EASY plan that I’m gonna share with you.
And when you follow this plan ~ you will ALWAYS end up with an impressive table setting.

How to Create a Fabulous Quick Table Setting in Minutes
There are three steps to creating an attractive table setting in minutes.
The key to the steps and quickly setting a table is color.
Yep, color.
Choose one color that will be used throughout your table setting. It will be the dominant color on your table.
Step 1: Select a tablecloth for your quick and easy table setting
If you want to impress your friends and family with a FABULOUS table setting, you need to use a tablecloth.
Now, I know that bare wood tables are beautiful, but there is something about a nice tablecloth that elevates the look of the table setting.
People notice a tablecloth on a table. They see that you’re “dressing” your table.
It’s super easy to throw a tablecloth on your dining table. And if you don’t have time to iron (I totally get it!), take a misting bottle and lightly spray your tablecloth with water. Don’t soak it!! Then take your hands and smooth out any wrinkles in your table cloth. It won’t completely remove them, but it will minimize the look of them.

When selecting a tablecloth, consider the color of your dishes.
Do you have colored or patterned dishes, or are they white? If they’re white, then find a tablecloth in your favorite color or the theme of your gathering. Make the tablecloth the dominant color you choose before starting step 1.
If you have patterned or colored dishes, select a tablecloth in the dominant color of your dishes. One that won’t fight with the other colors.
Step 2: Arrange the place settings
After you’ve laid down your tablecloth, it’s time to arrange the place settings.
Since this is a quick table setting, don’t fret about using charger plates and a lot of dishes. Just use your dinner and salad plates. Then set out a knife, a spoon, and dinner and salad forks with each set of plates. Finish with a water glass and wine glass.
And don’t forget the cloth napkin. Just fold and place it under or next to the forks. Of course, you can slip on a napkin ring if you want. I find that napkin rings immediately elevate the look of a table setting.
That’s it. Your fast and fabulous place setting is now complete.
Step 3: Set out the centerpiece for your fabulous easy table setting
Your centerpiece is the most time-consuming aspect of creating a quick table setting.
Table stylists have been known to spend a lot of time getting a table’s centerpiece perfect.
But you don’t need to spend hours on a centerpiece for an amazing table setting.
One of the easiest and fastest centerpieces is to line the middle of your table with small vases and fill each one with a flower or two. It’s SUPER QUICK and looks fabulous on a table.
Another super quick and easy centerpiece is to take a shallow bowl and fill it with glass balls that match your dishes or tablecloth.
Or a third option for a quick centerpiece is using two wide pillar candle holders and placing them in the center of your table. Then add a small flower arrangement in between them. Like on the table below…
