The only reason for me to diy spider napkin rings is for a Halloween table setting, lol!
I see no other reason for there to be spiders in my home, let alone on my table.
In fact, making these easy Halloween napkin rings gave me the heebie jeebies, just working with fake spiders.
I know it’s silly, but to me, seeing fake spiders is pretty close to seeing a real one. They all give me the shivers.
Luckily these diy black spider napkin rings are super quick and easy to make, so I didn’t need to handle the fake spiders for very long.
(In all seriousness, I love how they look.)

How to Make Spider Halloween Napkin Rings
Step 1: Assembling the curtain rings to make the diy spider napkin rings
I chose to use these curtain rings from Ikea because of the attached hanging hook and clip. Plus they’re pretty cheap.
Feel free to use a similar curtain ring that has a hanging element from the ring.

Attach the hanging clip so the hook is on the outside of the ring.
Step 2: Attach the fake spider to the curtain ring
Add a large bead of glue to the hanging clip and attach the belly of the spider to the clip.

*Note: if you want your spiders to be permanently adhered to the clip, use E6000 glue. If you want them to be temporary for a Halloween table setting, use hot glue to adhere them together. Then when you’re done using them, you can easily remove the spider and glue from the clip.

That’s it!!
Wasn’t that the easiest Halloween napkin ring diy ever!

Now slip your napkin through the ring and set your spooky Halloween table.
Bonus: Use the clip as a place card holder
Besides making a cute napkin ring, I also chose these curtain rings because of the attached clip. It can act as a place card holder.

BAM!
Pretty darn cute and useful!!

Now you know you’ve gotta make ’em!
