To see what stores are promoting for the season.

Trendy Tabletop Spring Colors
Every Spring is a breath of fresh air. You can safely predict that the colors will be light and bright. After all, we’re coming out of Winter where we’ve been hunkered down in our cozy homes. And we’re craving being outside.
With Springs comes flowers peaking out of the ground and leaves sprouting on trees.
Hence, the colors of the season tend to support new growth and life.
This Spring is a little different.

Typically we see bright pastels. However, this season the pastels are muted. They’re subdued.
Instead of a soft baby pink, I’m seeing a light dusty pink.
The dominant color is a subdued chambray blue. With supporting colors of a light terracotta orange and mustard yellow.
Light green has been replaced with olive green for Spring.
The trending colors for tableware this Spring have a tan undertone. Which is why they’re muted and subdued.
These Spring colors bring comfort and relaxation to the tabletop.
Spring Glassware that’s Trending
New to glassware this Spring are more vintage style glasses.
Maybe the comforting colors are influencing our desire to reminisce. To think back to decades past and embrace those styles.

Water glasses in amber, olive green, and blue are on the shelves. Colors that were popular decades ago are new to the store.
And the style of glassware is also a throwback to yesteryear.
I’m seeing ridge and bubble details. In addition to handblown-looking glasses.
Table Linens for Spring
Table linens that are trending for Spring are embracing the colors of the season, too.
I’m continuing to see lots of striped table runners and tablecloths. But they don’t have the farmhouse feel they used to.
They too make me feel of styles we saw decades ago.
The farmhouse style might be losing traction, and vintage inspired tableware might be taking its place.
In addition to lots of stripes, I also saw embroidered table linens. Definitely a nod to vintage.
Along with geometric designs reminiscent of the 70s and 80s.
Metal & Wood Spring Trends for Table Settings
So often metal and woods play a large part in tabletop trends.
This Spring they appear to be taking a backseat.
I haven’t seen much in the way of metals. Just some brushed gold pieces. But not much else. And definitely not shiny. Glam is not here this Spring.

As far as wood, the trend is definitely lighter. Like straw-colored or bleached wood.
Dark or medium woods aren’t apparent in the new items.
In fact, I’m not seeing much in the way of charcuterie boards. Maybe they’re on the way out? Or maybe they’re just not in the stores yet.
Something to watch for the tabletop trends for spring.
