I wanna share with you how to create unique tablescapes with a simple swap of 3 things.
Just by changing three different things on your table.
Did you know it’s that easy to completely transform the look, feel, and style of your table setting?
Yeppers!
Just switching three pieces to create a unique tablescape that looks NOTHING like the other.
And I’m gonna share with you those key items.
One is especially important, as it sets the tone for your tablescape.
It’s the glue that binds it all together.
Do you know what that one piece is?
The magical item that totally transforms a table setting?
It’s the tablecloth.
Yep!
A tablecloth is pure magic on a table.

Lemme share with you the power of a tablecloth. So you too can be mesmerized by the magic of tablecloths.
Below I’ve created two TOTALLY different tablescapes. All I did was swap out the tablecloth.
Well, I also changed the napkins and dinner plates. But EVERYTHING else on the table is the same.
Everything.
It’s that easy.
Really!
And yet these two tablescapes look SO different.
Like TOTALLY different.

I started each tablescape with a tablecloth that complimented my dishes.
In this case, I was matching a green salad plate and a peach colored bowl.
I found two very different tablecloths with the same peach and green colors in their design.
But how TOTALLY different the tablecloths are!
One is a modern floral from April Cornell and the other is a white vintage tablecloth.
1st Unique Tablescape
I started my first tablescape with the floral print tablecloth and laid it across my table. Then I placed a wooden bowl filled with fresh peaches in the center of the table.
The peaches totally bring out the color of the peach color in the tablecloth.

Who says a centerpiece needs to be flowers or candles? A bowl of fruit is perfect!
Then I added woven placemats.

Next, I layered a beautiful light blue dinner plate (2nd different item) that picked up the blue in the tablecloth with the green salad plate and peach bowl.

Then I added green-handled flatware and gorgeous glasses to the place setting.

To complete the place setting I added a matching napkin (3rd different item) with the easiest diy napkin ring. The napkin ring complimented the placemats perfectly.

Don’t you just love this colorful tablescape!

2nd Unique Tablescape
Now, to create the second unique table setting.
For this tablescape, I started with a vintage off-white square tablecloth.
I put it on the diagonal as it was way too small for my rectangular table. Plus, it immediately created a different look for the table.

Then I added the same bowl of peaches.
For this second table setting, I used the same placemats as on the first table.

But I opted for white dinner plates (2nd different item) to match the tablecloth and then layered the same salad plate and bowl.

As with the first tablescape, I used the same green flatware and glassware.
And to complete the second tablescape, I swapped out the napkins (the 3rd different item) for white ones and used the same diy napkin rings.

And the result ~ totally different!
I mean, you’ve really gotta look at the tablescapes to realize how much is the same.

Isn’t that CRAZY!

Just by swapping out the tablecloth, napkins, and dinner plate, you can create a completely different looking table setting.

And when you think about it ~ it’s the tablecloth that makes ALL the difference.
It instantly transforms the look and feel of a tablescape.
Voila! Tablecloth magic!
