I’m SO excited to share with you how to style a spectacular Galentine’s Day table that’s just perfect for brunch or lunch with your besties.
The inspiration for this Galentine’s tablescape struck when I stumbled upon retro snack plates.
You know ~ the glass trays with matching cups that were SUPER popular from the 40’s to 70’s. As in ~ every hostess with the mostess had them.
And now ~ you can find them super cheap at thrift stores and estate sales.
That’s were I found mine. At an estate sale. Just $4 for 8 sets!
You can’t buy paper plates and cups that cheap!!

Choosing the Foundation
So, here’s the scoop: I decided to kick off my Galentine’s Day tablescape with a pretty pink square tablecloth.
Why?
Well, because I’m absolutely smitten with the color, but here’s the catch – I only had it in a square shape.
No worries, though!
I decided to get creative and laid it diagonally across the rectangular table.
Defining the Galentine’s Day Table Place Settings
For my wonderful girlfriends, I wanted to make their spot at the table extra special.
Enter the red napkins!
But I didn’t use them as napkins ~ they became placemats!
I folded them in half, creating a charming rectangular shape, and placed one in front of each chair along the edge of the table.
Incorporating Vintage Pieces
Now, let’s talk vintage vibes!
The inspiration for this tablescape struck when I stumbled upon these retro snack plates.

These little treasures were all the rage from the ’40s to the ’70s, and I fell head over heels for their unique design and that special indentation for cups.
I LOVE the circles and dots that become obvious with the red napkin underneath.
Talk about a blast from the past!
To make these snack plates the star of the show, I centered them in the middle of each place setting.
The circles and dots on these plates bring such a playful and nostalgic vibe to the table, don’t you think?
Adding Glassware and Utensils
No table setting is complete without some fabulous glassware and utensils, am I right?
So, to the top right of those adorable snack plates went the glasses.
I used the cup that came with the snack set and added a super cute “boopy” glass, giving the table that extra touch of sophistication.
Personalizing Napkin Rings
Now, here’s a fun and easy DIY project for you – napkin rings!
I snagged some red bows from a clearance find at Joann’s, and with a little twist and tie action, I had the cutest napkin rings ever.

Placing them to the left of each fork, it’s like a bow-tiful personal touch for my gal pals!
Galentine’s Day Gift Ideas
Because our gals deserve a little extra love, I decided to sprinkle in some gifts.
A darling pink tidbit tray from Target’s dollar spot and heart-themed coffee spoons from World Market were the absolute perfect finds.
Arranging these gifts was like adding a cherry on top.

The tidbit tray found its place to the right of the snack tray and those heart-shaped coffee spoons? Well, they’re positioned like cute little arrows, aiming straight for our hearts.
Too cute!
Building the Centerpiece for Your Galentine’s Day Table
Now, let’s talk centerpiece magic!
I wanted to keep things simple to avoid stealing the spotlight from the table. So, I introduced some red ribbons and bows, creating a visually appealing line down the center of the table.
Adding a Little Fun
If you’re feeling a bit extra, like I often do, shiny red hearts from Hobby Lobby make for fantastic additions.
A little scatter here and there, and voila! More visual interest for those who crave a touch more dazzle.
Elevating the Table with Serving Dishes

To make my table setting not just pretty but also functional for serving some scrumptious treats, I found a lovely secondhand dish that matched the snack trays.
Next, I added a tiered tray from Target’s $5 section that’s just too charming to resist.
Assembling the tiered tray and adding a velvet ribbon for that extra flair turned it into the perfect display for sandwiches, cakes, or cookies.
Final Touches and Presentation
There you have it – your Galentine’s Day tablescape is ready to steal the show!

It’s a setting filled with warmth, charm, and a sprinkle of personal touches, making it the ideal backdrop for quality time with our favorite girlfriends.
