Gather some of your favorite pieces and display them in a tray, on your table.

I’m not talking about “setting” your table. I’m saying to “set out” items on your dining table.
Put out a small pile of plates, napkins, and utensils. in the middle of the table. Then add a vase and a pitcher of water.

When someone wants a snack, everything they need is already on the table. Boo-ya!
